Building small: An unconventional beginning.

Michael Lander designed and built his first tiny houses, floating homes, in Sausalito, Ca. 50 years ago. These first projects demonstrated a market for small creative living spaces. He founded Lander Group in 1984 and brings 40+ years of small space design experience to the LG Tiny series. The Lander Group has a long track record of award winning urban infill projects that feature small homes that ‘live large’ with design features like big windows, long interior views, and flexible spaces to maximize livability. At the same time, we understand some design elements, like good storage and natural light, are critical for small home living. The LG Tiny series emphasizes indoor/outdoor living and carefully balances creativity with practicality to meet the unique needs of modern tiny home living.
